Ms. Healy graduated from Stonehill College, magna cum laude, in 2002, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2005, Ms. Healy graduated from Pace University, School of Law, cum laude. As a law student, Ms. Healy was a Case Note and Comment Editor of the Pace Law Review, she externed for United States District Judge Stephen C. Robinson and, in June 2004, she began her career at Babchik & Young.
In 2013, Ms. Healy was named a partner of the firm, where she handles a broad range of cases in the areas of employment law and professional liability defense. She defends employers against all types of protected-class discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases arising under Federal, New York State and New York City human rights laws in various forums, including Federal and State courts as well as before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission of Human Rights, in addition to various other local entities. In 2013, SuperLawyers named Ms. Healy a “Rising Star” in the area of Employment Litigation Defense.
Additionally, Ms. Healy has experience representing various professionals, including architects, engineers, attorneys and accountants, in malpractice and other suits, involving allegations of breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, design errors and construction defects.
Ms. Healy is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and to the U.S. District Courts of the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
