Matthew Rosen graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1992 with a degree in Political Science and received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1995. While in law school, he took part in a civil advocacy group and assisted with efforts of seekers of political asylum from China and Sudan. Additionally, he served as a law clerk in a criminal defense firm, assisting in the investigation and defense of a high profile homicide case.
After graduating from New York Law School, Mr. Rosen served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York from January 1996 until October 1999, serving in the Criminal Court Bureau, Grand Jury Bureau and the Asset Forfeiture Unit, where he assisted in securing the assets of crimes. He has been with Babchik & Young since 2003, handling the day-to-day litigation of premises liability, vertical transportation and labor law matters. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the United State District Courts in the Southern District and Eastern District.
